Pastor Kyle and his wife, Tina, have a son, Christopher Slater and a daughter, Kyleen Slater. Their son is a Tech Sgt. in the Air Force and is stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. He is married to Katie and they have two daughters and one son. Kyleen is a graduate of FSU and lives in Tampa. She is director of outreach at the Children's Cancer Center. Pastor Kyle graduated in 1982 from Baptist College of Florida with a BA in Theology. In 1983 he was honored by Gulf Coast Theological Seminary with a Dr. of Divinity. He served three churches throughout his 26 years of ministry in Florida and Tennessee before coming to Lake Carroll. Pastor Kyle accepted the call to his first church in 1981 and has continued serving faithfully ever since.
